Problem with Maxi-Patch
I have recently been getting the following errors on Maxi-Patch audio only: 1) The procedure entry point patcher_resolvebox_ex could not be located in the dynamic link library MaxAPI.dll. 2) The procedure entry point patcher_resolvepatcher could not be located in the dynamic link library MaxAPI.dll....

Opinions requested: Stanton 680.V3 cartridge
Has anyone used the Stanton 680.V3 with Ms. Pinky? I was wondering how they work with the application because it sounds like their tracking ability and sound quality are sick. I was hoping to use them because they are well-priced for something that I could use to both archive/listen to vinyls with a...

I also just tried to run Maxi-patch AO in Wine for Linux with no success. I am trying to get Ardour to work but there are many, many libraries and stuff needed for a build, which is hindering me a little bit as a newbie, but I will let you know if there is any success and what the program is like if...

Just an update. I have recently been looking into getting linux. If you get the Ardour multitrack audio software, it can host vsts (when you build it properly) and therefore pinky pluggo. As I am new to linux, I still don't understand what the wine development kit is but the instructions (besides th...

Preference file in XP
I know there is an answer somewhere on this forum for where the preference file is in XP but I was trying to find the post again and couldn't. This would help me and any other XP users if some could remind me where to go to see/delete those files. Thanks.

I recently posted asking about multiple decks. I found if you drop the .xmf file for Maxi-Patch into an already running program you can get four decks running but switching the audio settings if you are only using 1 or 2 decks can only be done the first time you load the program. I am searching the ...

I mentioned this in the general forum and I probably should have done it here but getting audio settings to work with more than one set of decks with maxi-patch. Also, switching outputs and vinyl control on and off seems like it wouldn't be too hard to put a set of hot keys or midi controllers too, ...

I know this is really old but I had the same problem and funnily enough, it just went away. I found that if I am careless and clicking around on my computer while it is loading, I crash it still. Also, if I try dragging opening more decks in Maxi-patch, it'll eventually crash. I imagine it is just t...

Looping in Maxi-Patch
Is there any way to loop on the fly in Maxi-Patch. I am only using vinyl and one turntable. Do I just have to find some way to switch virtual decks quickly and be bad-ass with my cuing? I don't mind but if there is some easier way, that'd be boss.
