Oops, meant to say I haven't tried the MsPinky vinyl w/ djDecks in a couple of months. Sorry for the confusion =).
Didn't get a chance last night- hopefully tonight I'll learn that everything works great!

I do really like djDecks, but to be honest, it's simply not been reliable for me with MsPinky vinyl. This is almost certainly a software bug (as djDecks works great for me with FS vinyl, and MaxiPatch works great for me with MP vinyl), but more often than not the pitch in djDecks with MP vinyl will ...

How's the new half 'n half vinyl
Anybody here picked up the new half pink, half black vinyl? Looks pretty cool to me- what're your thoughts?
Also, DLP: how do you think the longevity of these new records will turn out to be? About as long as the all pinks?

Take a look at this thread: http://www.mspinky.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=142 Both DJOne and I are successfully using the FS2 amp with MsPinky. As he mentions, with the current version of Max/MSP that MsPinky is built with you won't be able to mess with the ASIO settings from within the app, but tha...

Re: carts
i'm currently using stanton trackmasters which i'm not happy with, what do you think, white labels or m44-7's?? Don't get the whitelabels! They're great for regular vinyl, but they seem to mess with the stereo phasing a little bit, which totally confuses mspinky. When I first started using this app...

So... I and many others on the djDecks forums have been completely unable to use MsPinky in djDecks, despite having a perfectly functioning MaxiPatch. My signals are clean, but djDecks reports error rates in the 2.5 range, which I think means that pretty much nothing is being picked up. Scott, have ...

Just wanted to chime in to mention that I've used BinkyToy w/ an M-Audio Quattro on a 1GHz Powerbook many times with no problems, including multiple-hour sets. Knowing M-Audio it's still quite possible that they're at fault, but make sure there's not something else "off" in your signal path before y...
