I'm Pretty sure Resolume have a bug here actually, When set to Relative mode (0 ~ 127) their clips freeze unless set to loop and when set to loop their clips do not respond to midi, this is the same whatever app is sending the midi be it a daw or Maxi but only happens in Relative (0 ~ 127) mode. Abs...

Sure thing. Technics 1210 turntable. Stanton RM~3s mixer Emu-0404 sound card Duel Radion ~ HD 4870's graphics cards XP64 OS 8gig Ram Itel core2duo 3ghz Processor. Error metric reading approx 0.2 EDD: I'm not so worried about the drift, the main problem is that with Resolume clips set to Relative (64...

Maxi patch AO midi question.
Hi. What perameters should I adjust to fix this problem? I have a 5 second clip playing in resolume and midi out assigned to this clips playback position from Maxi patch AO. When I play the tcv it takes approx 3 rotations of the vynil to complete the playback of the clip, but if I rewind the tcv it ...

That's cool. Just out of interest, what are you going to send hi res midi too? I only know of one app that supports it and that's Arkaos, are there others? It seem's there is no standard protocol for 14 but midi so most times any support that is given is normallyonly for a specific controller, like ...

We have to use something to send this midi to, to test it though. Anyway good new's, I am getting absolutely amaizing results scratching clips via midi, the precision is astounding! I'm sending automaion as standard midi, normal midi CC's (0 -127) and it's really really good! as smooth or fast as yo...

Good. So can you tell me what exact type of MIDI information resolume needs in order to scratch video clips? Does it need CC's? Pitch-bend? Or is there a special SysEx message format for Resolume? Sure thing, I'll beta test for you too if you want? I have torque and some technics waiting right here...

Yaay Mudo!!! Well gonna try: Tcv midi out > Flanger depth (thats gonna sound awsome!) Tcv midi out > to realtime pitch changer and also time stretch (so as visual clips slow down the audi pitch stays put but sttrrrreeeeettchhhes out, sick!) Tcv midi out > XYZ Clip Rotation (naturaly) Probably some s...

This is an excellent thread by the way mundo ;) It seems to be insufficient to fast scratching or accurate tracking. Are you sure? I've never had any problems with slowdown using midi, I can appreciate that there are latency isues, but these are normally on the part of the processor, not through any...

I don't see any disadvantages at all to midi being restricted to only 128 steps. Firstly 128 steps = 128 frames at least! One step of midi data assigned per frame of the clip. This would allow for a whole 5 seconds of clip to be scratched, which is plenty! Enough to scratch a spoken phrase for examp...

How can I convert tcv to a midi signal?
Is this possible with mrs pinky? I guess that the Vynil could then act as a continual rotary controller that I would be able to send midi from, to anywhere including other apps?
