thanks for the asio4all link! :D other free things I could add to this list would be the free HTC midi controller app: http://thesundancekid.net/blog/fingerplay-midi/ similar to hexlers touch osc app (free for HTC as well) http://hexler.net/software/touchosc-android but Finger play has the customiza...

I thought mix in key was just a way to label your mp3s and you use the chart they provide to match tracks in similar key. In Ms Pinky there are two things that affect the pitch of a song The pitch adjustment in MS Pinky or any DJ DVS / CD Player / Turntable changes the perceived pitch / key of the s...

Hi, On the fly cue points are working great! Unfortunately I'm not getting a smooth transition into my loops, and I've really tried everything I could. There is a slight pause when I hit bang loop or turn on loop mode to start or enable my loop. I've tried in all three modes, cue, relative and absol...

Yes you can use a midi keyboard to assign different parameters to. Check out the tabs at the top of Maxi-Patch: File Player, vinyl/CD Control, MIDI in, etc. Select Midi in and check that the Midi CC and Note enable boxes are selected (appears with X). The midi CC and channel numbers appear in the bo...

Thanks for fixing that bug, I'll test it this week. And thanks for looking into creating loops with midi notes, that will be very handy for me. About the midi assignable cue points and loops. I have seen it before and could only get one cue point and loop to work at a time by setting the cue and loo...

Possible Audio through error in Maxi-Patch
Hi, I was messing with Maxi-Patch (version 3.7.4) the other night and when I assigned a midi value to "vinyl control on/off" the control wasn't changed to vinyl control off. Also the sound from the control vinyl starts coming through the channel. Is this midi value meant to change the Audio Through ...

I can confirm the Finger Play app for Android phones worked very well for me on my HTC Desire. It was very easy to set up and get going with the loopBe1 application mentioned on the finger play website. I would like to try use the OSC in Ms Pinky as you have to pay for loopbe1 and osculator. However...

Ben, I personally think the curve will be long enough, it will have a very smooth fade in a DAW. The midi values for any midi fader, control knob or velocity sensitive key sends values from 0 - 127. In the case of a volume control: Fader down sending a 0 midi value will be 0% volume and fader all th...

1) Not sure, you'll need to contact Ms Pinky Admins with your details. 2) As far as I'm aware, the cross-fader is only in the Maxi-Patch Application, which is midi assignable. I personally pipe the audio through to the DJ mixer. If you have a mixer you want to use in your DAW you're able to assign a...

Thanks for that Mr. I've recently purchased a HTC phone and wanted to share some info about an app I found that is similar to Hexler's Touch OSC app for Apple. For those like me who can't wait for the Andriod version to come out. The application is free and is called Finger Play: http://thesundancek...
