M4L Tempo/Ableton Sync
Very quick question, the answer of which I have probably looked over but forgotten:
Is there a way to sync the tempo/pitch/what-you-will of clips playing through the Ms. Pinky M4L device with Abletons tempo?
Again, I'm sure the answer is right under my nose.
Thanks.

Your first two recommendations would be a fantastic addition to Ms. Pinky. She loves pink, so I imagine some different rosy hues to differentiate between the frequencies would look sharp. Additionally, I as well feel the limitations of the cue points (especially within the M4L device) and would grea...

My Ms. Pinky setup w/ Ableton
After a couple creative months of experimentation with Ableton and Ms. Pinky I found the perfect setup for my mixin'. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1487011/ms%20pinky%20setup.jpg Most of the magic happens within Ableton, while Ms. Pinky is used for scratchin' up samples and such. It's simple and I like it...

Right now I'm using Katapult to control the cues from my LaunchPad. But again, not nearly as much cue control as I would like.

This patch has been a great work-in to my existing setup, and based on the ideas being floated around (coloured-waveforms!) it will only get better. However, I do have a question about mapping Cue points to MIDI. Ableton seems to think of the cue points as a single assignable MIDI and not individual...

I guess I am still having troubles with the process of extracting the files and placing them in the correct directory. Or does that even matter? I don't know much about how Max/MSP works... So I am a little naive in that respect. However, my intention has only been to use the Ms Pinky Ableton Live p...

I 'installed' the Max For Live patches into what I presumed to be the correct folders. I've been able to use the MsPinky_M4L_AudioFX patch, however, with certain limitations. The patch wont load selected clips from the session view, instead they must be dragged in from the browser. I'm running this ...
