Midi Clock Output From Max/MSP?
With the end goal of making my Pinky vinyl talk to Quartz Composer , I am hoping to convert Ms. Pinky's signal to MIDI Clock values. However, I am having trouble finding a Max/MSP patch for sending MIDI Clock values out to other applications. There is discussion about this on the Cycling '74 forums,...

$99 M-Audio Studio Pro 3 Monitors...Anyone Used These?
Ahoy! My studio speaker setup is in need of an upgrade, and I spotted M-Audio's Studio Pro 3 monitors for an affordable $99. Might anyone share some pros/cons with their experience? I have a small-ish bedrooom size studio and don't need anything particularly loud (respecting apartment neighbors). He...

video.google.com has been a saving grace as of late. Download fairly high quality clips in AVI format and then convert them to whatever you like.

Hi Mudo You can download a 30-day demo of Max/MSP/Jitter and a huge array of tutorial patches with accompanying PDF files. The tutorials are a snap. Also, the patch editor interface in Max provides easy learning of new objects. Just hold "option" when clicking on any object to get a helper window th...

Griffin iMic Aggregate Setup Works Too!
:!: :!: I'm so glad you mentioned the soundcard aggregation feature in OSX 10.4! I just tested out my $39 Griffin iMic and it seems to work well on my 1.25 Ghz Aluminum Powerbook. This gave me two stereo inputs and two stereo outputs without buying a $200+ U46DJ USB device. Of course, you will need ...
