All I get is a buzz...
I'm only getting a buzzing sound out of Maxi-Patch-AO. I can't even manipulate the waveform by moving the record. I got my Final Scratch 2 amp plugged in to the mixer and tables correctly. I have the outputs of the amp going into my line ins on my mixer and the thru outs of the amp going into the ph...

Hi, I'm new to this...
Hi, I'm new to Pinky Pluggo. I just got my pinky records, but I have to wait for the universal binary version of Pluggo to use it w/Ableton. How do you use Pluggo w/Ableton. 1)Do you open Pluggo or Maxi in Ableton as a VST? 2)Do you only open it once? 3)Does that let you control each "vinyl" track s...

Am I doing this right?
Am i suppose to do anything to the Max/MSP Externals and Patches folder? I opened it up, and I am a little confused. There doesn't seem to be any actions I can take. I guess your just suppose to download it??? It also says to set the signal vecor size and I/O vector size to the highest power of 2 or...

Are both turtables able to be processed in Ableton?
When you open Maxi in Ableton as a VST, are both turtables able to be processed in Ableton? How do you seperate the two? The only reason that I ask these questions is b/c Pluggo will not work on my Mac, and I have no way of testing this.

Plugo question...
When you run Pluggo, and have your turntables playing in Ableton, does Ableton auto lock the pitch. I don't want it to. I want to be able to d.j. traditionally with the pitch control on my turntables. In other words, do I still have control w/the pitch on my tables over the pinky tracks in ableton? ...

Tell me if there's a better way... I am actually running Ableton out to a Focusrite Saphire audio interface, then into 2 channels on my mixer. I am then going to run Ms. Pinky into the Scratch Amp into my computer. I should be able to use Pluggo to have the two Pinky records in Ableton. Then I will ...

Digitraks don't ware out records, right?
Isn't a big reason of getting the Digitrak kit to not ware out your expensive ms pinky records (which I just bought!)?

Ortofon alternative???
I have Ortofon Concordes (nightclub, yellow tips) right now. Do I need the entire Digitrack Kit, or can I get the Digitrack stylus and put them on my Concorde cartridge? Anyways, is there a cheaper alternative than digitrack that works???

Nevermind
Scratch those last questions about the setup, I figured it out. That setup was not right. I need the record out going into the computer, and output out going to PA system. And I figured out the question about having the "vinyl" channels in Ableton open. I just need to know about the sound card. Than...

How's this sound for a setup???
I was told to run Ms. Pinky w/out the amp to conserve resources. What is the up side of using it? What is the difference in maxi-patch and binky toy? Also, since pluggo lets you open it up in the DAW, i.e. Ableton, does it let you set those turntable channels up as there own channels in Ableton eith...

Hello, I'm new to all this and need help. I already have FinalScratch2, and M-audio410interface w/Ableton. I was told to sell this and get Ms Plinky and another interface. I want to spin all my vinyl on FS2 or Ms Plinky (which I am confused about). I have a Macbook Pro (I know I have to wait for uni...

O.K., I just got introduced to this today, and I've been reading, but the website is not set up very well, and I'm confused by the forums. I was told to buy pinky pluggo in conjuntion w/motu ultralite audio interface to spin dummy records like FS2, and use ableton with it. How would this be differen...
