Re: Software Downloads keep import duties minimal
We can ship Express to Canada. Usually takes no more than 3-4 days. Since we only ship the vinyl (all software is downloaded), the import duties should be minimal because the customs agents only see a box of vinyl  If I remember correctly, it was sent via USPS which only charges a $5 brokerag...

Re: serato not yet functional with ms pinky
they have yet to release the asio and core audio drivers for the 57 / sl1 box and so as far as i know the units are not yet compatible with ms. pinky video (or audio) apps, but for sure im quite confident that the interfaces will be fast enough. anyone who's used serato knows that the latency is vi...

Re: one more thing on .wav vs mp3...
although it doesn't take much power to compute, would using a .wav affect how much processor power is left over to compute the real-time video in maxi-patch? With a G5 you shouldnt have to worry about mp3 vs wav files as the difference in CPU processing power is so slight. Now I think that you can ...

Re: Wav vs MP3
I assumed that due to their smaller file size, .mp3's would be easier on the computer than .wav's. Am I wrong about this? Nope I think your wrong. The CPU needs to decode MP3 files before the data gets sent to the soundcard, where as with waves, they are not compressed so no decoding is needed henc...

I checked this out at the Rane factory. It's fantastic for working with just Audio because of the built in Serato interface. Is the interface fast enough to work with Ms Pinky's video apps? They didn't mention midi capabilities when I checked it out, midi would be a real plus... No midi yet, but th...

Re: master tempo?
I know if the master tempo is enabled on CDJs, that Final Scratch will not be able to read the control CD, does the same apply to Ms Pinky? First, sorry that this is so way OT... Hey DJ Kee, I recognize you from the Traktor forum. I just wanted to say "what's up" and say that I just got my Ms. Pink...
