Hi, I think I just found a bug. I just updated to the latest version of everything Ms Pinky, and using the Max for Live patch I found it doesn't treat side B or my Gen 4 records the same as side A. I know Ms Pinky reads the location of the vinyl in values from 0 to 65535 for side A and from 65536 on...

Kid Koala's 12 Bit Blues contest routine
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJlefjkAwbo If you dig it, I'd really appreciate if you could give it thumbs up on youtube :). Not really using Pinky for this one, but it helped a ton doing prep work and practice. Also, I came up with a really cool live looping setup for this if you don't have a mixe...

Compiling Maxi Patch AO for dummies?
Hey, I just picked up Max/MSP, and have been trying to do some simple mods to Maxi Patch AO, which I've gotten working in the source patches. Problem is I have no idea what I need to do to compile it as a fully functioning app.

Awesome! Had that happen once when setting up. It's funny how one overlooks the easiest solutions when troubleshooting.

Make sure you're connecting your soundcard outs to the Line inputs of your mixer, not the Phono ins, as these will raise considerably the input you feed them, and if it's line level it'll give you horrible distortion. Using a 1200 and a Traktor Audio 6, my Signal Power Treshold sits at -48 dB workin...

Walkie Routine with Ms Pinky

A 2 min juggle routine I came up with for a battle using Maxi-Patch with the records in absolute mode.

Problem is phono pre-amps also add an pretty steep EQ curve to the incoming signal called the RIAA curve to compensate for the bass lowering used to cut vinyl, and normal mic/line pre-amps don't have that EQ. If you already have the Fast Track Pro, you might have better luck setting it up alongside ...

Mudo's pre-amp solution could work really good if you just can't get both cards working with asio4all and would prefer to use the audio 4 only. Set the audio 4 inputs to line, put the phono pre-amp between the turntable and soundcard, and connect your mixer's out to the audio 4's 2nd in, and use the...

Sorry, I don't have a PC to test Asio4All, but I just came up with an idea. Maybe you could look into is using Maxi-Patch AO instead of Pinky VST, that's what I'm doing currently with my current set-up. Set Maxi-Patch's audio settings so it uses the Audio 4 for it's I/O, then set Ableton to use the ...

I just found it locking up Ms Pinky like this seems to lock up all audio going out through its selected output device. Tested this with the internal soundcard. If I make it crash while playing something off another app (iTunes, Safari, QT, VLC) all audio going out the internal soundcard will be mute...
