Ok, I found out that indeed, you can "render" a max patch to have a standalone pluggo patch.
So, in theory, you can have the vinyl translated to midi commands, like incremental CC data change.
Has anyone done this yet?

digital vinyl to control synth parameter
Apologies if I misunderstand what pinky pluggo is and what its capable of. I wonder if you can use the mspinky vinyl to control a vst plug parameter. I mean, in addition to control speed, pitch, direction and such of a wav, can you translate the signal to simple midi commands? That way, the turntabl...

... about dopefer kit: the pots or knobs to connect must be free contact... My idea was to do a bridge from vestax fader to this and voil·... but it seems not possible... ... mudo- what do you mean by free contact? did you want to "branch-off" a working fader (under voltage) to the midi board? this...

ms pinky torq NIscratch
We all know the m-audio torq records use the same technology as mspinky, but how does Native Instruments Traktor Scratch compare? On their site, they say (and prove it with pictures) that their control signal is far superior to the largest competitor they have (probably Rane Serato). Is 2 kHz really...

pinky pluggo vst in cubase
I always research my purchases very, very thoroughly. I think Im finally ready to make the jump. Why? Vinyl control as vst!! Ive just a couple of quick questions; 1- Does it work under cubase on xp, as long as you have the windows pluggo runtime? (edit; found it, it does indeed) 2- Is the vst...

Right  Kinda forgot about that. Maybe if its a bad crossfader with a little bleed? :D So, in fact, the ideal would be a digital scratchmixer with digital in-out. I still like my analog though. MsPinky is the perfect bridge between the two actually. Just tried to think of a way to cut down on c...

Thanks for the reply. (I tried to edit my first post because it didnt sound very friendly. :? Couldnt log in though, works fine now) :) Its not a very big problem that I have to use two inputs on my soundcard, and my preamp sounds fine, so no problem there. Its more a question of what Im trying to do...

signal path through mixer
I have an alternative signal path (that may have been suggested before). Please let me know if it works. To get a line level signal going into the sound card, the turntable has to be connected to a preamp, then to your soundcard. But this means, you go from your turntable to your computer, to your m...

phono "thru"
I was wondering what would be the best solution to have some kind of phono through on the pinky system. What I mean is, if I feel like working with real vinyl, and my computer is not on, I don't want to have to unplug my audio cables from the phono pre's or from the soundcard each time.:? I need som...
