Set the "volume level" slider on the left of the patch I posted here to something close to it's top value. In the screenshot you posted it is set to 0. Otherwise it will mute the output of mptcts_sa~ and you won't hear anything. Also you need to select each live.slider object and include it in the p...

Below is a patch showing how to use the live.slider object to implement a simple non-linear crossfader. To open this patch in Max, copy all the text below and then in Max select File-->New From Clipboard. The comments in the patch give hints on how to use it. { "boxes" : [ { "box" : { "maxclass" : "...

I’ve tested the VST jog wheel scratching extensively with the Vestax Typhoon, but not the VCI-300. Please get this app: http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ Please capture a session of the VCI-300 jog wheel just scratching back and forth for a few seconds and email the saved file to me. Hopefully that...

You could try creating an “aggregate audio device” with your Conectiv + M-Box. Here’s a link from Apple explaining how to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1215?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US Once you’ve created your aggregate audio device with the Conectiv + M-Box, then you should be able to se...

You're correct that the tones from the record need to be fed directly to the software without any interruptions. This means you need to get an audio converter that accepts direct turntable connection (such as the M-Audio Conectiv or the NI-Audio 6/8 DJ) or get a separate phono preamp to drive the in...

Pinky VST/AU 2.2.3: 64-bit for OSX and an Audio Unit!
PinkyVST/AU is now available both as a VST and an Audio Unit for OSX, compatible with both 32- and 64-bit host applications. The latest version 2.2.3 includes some other random bug fixes too, notably the ability to play 32-bit .WAV and .AIFF files.
So you can say goodbye to jbridge

Pinky VST 2.2.3: 64-bit for Windoze!
Pinky VST version 2.2.3 is now available for Windoze. The big thing with this version is that we now have a true 64-bit VST! Of course we've also built a 32-bit version for Windoze. Both the 64- and 32-bit versions have several important bug fixes for playback of .WAV and .AIFF files (including supp...

MPTCFS_SA~ object now supports 32-bit WAV file playback
Important Bug Fix! The MPTCFS_SA~ Max/MSP external object, which is the heart of Ms Pinky's Max/MSP audio file scratching toolbox, will now play those 32-bit WAV files that it couldn't before  Why should you care? Ableton records/bounces to 32-bit floating point WAV files. So if these recorded...

Actually there is no gen 6 vinyl. Well that's not entirely true. There are about 10 copies of a test pressing which we made as an experimental new format which didn't end up working as expected so we threw it out. Same with gen 7. So those options in the Pinky VST vinyl control pop-up menu should be...
