Now that the new version of Maxi Patch is available Has anyone done a comparison between the MacBook and MacBook Pro using Maxi-Patch?
I realize the processor speeds aren't really much different, but what I'm curious about is frame rates, especially when using a second "output" monitor.
I find when I load up my G5 with MIDI, two turntable inputs, and a second output monitor, it starts to slow down a bit.
A better video card comes with the MacBook Pro, so I'm wondering if that would help with the frame rate issues, or if the frame rate thing is all processor based... Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
