Click sounds when moving mouse...

Post by gem000 » Mon Jul 02, 2007 11:07 am

Im using a macbook, and after I load a record everything is fine then when i go to choose another track using the mouse, there is an interuption in the music playing on the record. It must be something like the HD turning off and then too much CPU usuage or something...I have 2GB of ram tho..
Anyone know how i can fix this?
Cheers,
Geoff

Which Ms Pinky app are you running when this happens?

And what's your soundcard?

Is yours by any chance one of the notorious black Macbooks? If so, I've heard of weird things happening with the sound on those....

audio I/O buffer size?

Post by dlpinkstah » Sun Jul 08, 2007 5:43 pm

I have a Macbook Pro and have never experienced that problem.

Does changing the audio I/O buffer size setting in each of these programs help? If it were, in fact, something due to a temporary CPU overload, then you could ameliorate it by increasing your audio I/O buffer size. If that doesn't help, then I have no idea. Contact Apple tech support.
