this is a call for the guys in the office up there: why don t you find a way to let the xwax people to use your code ?

We of course offered to let them use our royalty-free SDK in their app, without any cost to them or limitations on distribution. But they wouldn't accept it because it is not 100% open source. We are not giving away the SDK source code to anyone, so unless they can find a way to be reasonable and accept the use of our SDK in compiled form, it's not going to be part of their project.

i contacted the developer of XWAX, and it is indeed a GPL issue. im curious why xwax supports serato and trackor vinyls... neither of those are open source afaik.

linux support for pinky would be very kewl ;)

I think their support of Serato and Traktor is only relative-mode, which is very easy to reverse engineer. They could do the same for Ms Pinky vinyl, without using our SDK. But it wouldn't do needle-drop.
