File Preperation

Latest version up and running inside Ableton.

Have had some random crashes where it shuts ableton down completely.

Do files need to be scanned somehow prior to being loaded? It seems to have crashed after dragging files into the window to begin to play.

Any tips? Got a gig coming up.

Set on Relative mode in Generation 4.

error metric 0.1-0.2

plays back freaking spotless just has crashed a few times when loading new tracks.

Please download the very latest build of Pinky VST. I put a new one up there just a couple of days ago, but didn't change the date on the html page.

There was a bug with mono AIFF/WAV files that could have been causing your crashes. So please delete whatever you currently have and download the latest. Hopefully your crashes will stop. If they don't PLEASE email me the crash log

02/25 is the latest. Lemme know if it solves the crash problem. Otherwise please carefully note under what circumstances the crash occurs.

And definitely read this post...

had it crash again....emailed you the bug report.

Now I was pushing it like having a filer loaded playing, dragging another file onto the deck in relative mode....

did that 3 times quickly and it crashed ableton.
that isn't normal behavior for the sets I will be playing, but I am trying to track down what is causing this so it won't happen to me live.

thanks.

Did you end up using the batch waveform calculator in Maxi-Patch to pre-calculate all the waveforms for your files?

batched all my files.

Crashed once in the middle of a file playing. Had to CTRL ALT DLT ableton...

upon restarting ableton it would not recognize my soundcard causing me to reboot the whole system

thank god for wax. Have no idea what caused it as it was working flawlessly for 2 hours, then bam.
