Has anyone tried the ART USB PHONO PLUS

Hello Mspinkyfans,



Has anyone of you tried the art usb phono plus.

It is a soundcard with phono preambs and it can get its power from the usb bus! (less cables;)

It has only enough ins and outs for one turntable, but i was thinking of buying two of these devices, as they only cost 100,- dollar/euro each.

This is also interresting if you are spinning in a big club.

I was thinking,

Maybe you can attach one of the outputs to the phono input of your mixer.

And when you switch to old records you can put the gain lower and use it as a thru. (less cables;)

I don t know if this works ofcourse.



I am think of buying it and i am bound to test it with two turntables in my local musicstore, but if anyone can give me some advice that would be nice.
