Hey all, noob to the fan club, looking forward to being able to fully enjoy the spoils of Ms Pinky.. so first I wanted to post about how we got as far as we have:
First of all, the U46DJ coming without a power cord is a total trip. Because there's no ground connected to the wall, the first thing you have to do is make sure the grounds are connected to the mixer, not the DAC. The RCA outputs from the mixer go to input 1&2, and 3&4 (i think).
Second, the ESI drivers lick smelly stinky shweaty ballsack. Use this open driver instead: http://tippach.business.t-online.de/asio4all/ you'll have to reboot when you install it. silly windows.
Third, open up the U46DJ's recording level in the Windows Sound tool thingy, and mute it. This will prevent the time code hum from coming at least out of the left channel (i call 1&2).
The only thing that is preventing my happy times with Ms Pinky is the right channel still lets the time code signal through. I can't find anywhere else to block the signal, and the song that is loaded up on the right table plays through. LOUD timecode. Bad.
I'm runnin Ms Pinky on a EF050 series U46DJ, with an AMD 3200+ 2 gigs of ram, Windows XP Sp2.
Thanks, and good luck
