Serato Box as a sound card for Ms. Pinky?

Post by WGL » Sun Apr 22, 2007 11:54 pm

I have a old FS2 sound card and it works OK. I ask about Serato because most the clubs I play at have these hooked up already and I don't want to tear things down to play an hour then set back up for whoever closes out the night.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Last I heard, Serato/RANE does not release the necessary drivers to allow other software to communicate with and make use of their I/O box. Shame on them

Supposedly they work on windows but not Mac. I could be wrong but I asked the same question on cycling 74 and Serato forums. It's a damn shame it doesn't though as it would be helpful. Surely it'll be possible with an upgrade. If NI can do it with their audio8 Serato should really sort it.
