Will a Fast Track Pro Work with Ms Pinky?

Post by keithtalent » Fri Jun 13, 2008 12:05 am

Hey,

I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer to this. If I want to run 2 turntables with Ms Pinky, can I use an M-Audio Fast Track Pro? I'm on a Macbook using Live 7 (not that this really matters). Thanks for the help.

The M-Audio Fast Track Pro has only (2) analog inputs, so that would only handle (1) single turntable. I guess if your other turntable is one with digital (SPDIF) output, then you could connect it to the digital (SPDIF) input of the Frast Track. But if your turntable only has conventional analog outputs, then the answer is "no".

If you want to use (2) decks with Ms Pinky, you'll need something like the M-Audio Conectiv that has (4) analog inputs.
