Decks w/ Built in Pre-Amp

Post by bedhed3000 » Fri Sep 30, 2005 11:59 pm

I was wondering if anyone has tried using a turntable with a built in pre-amp. I play Audiotechnica ATPL120's and they sound great through my mixer (Vextax PMC25). Should it make a difference with Ms. Pinky, or should I get a preamp to boost the signal even more?

Thanks

Ms Pinky loves decks with built-in preamps!

Ms Pinky absolutely loves decks with built-in phono preamps. This makes the setup so much easier. If your deck already has phono preamps built-in, you don't need the external ones inserted between turntable and audio converter.
