guess this is the best place to post this...

Has anyone got any tips, I want some sort of midi fader/connection to my audio mixer, not too hot on using two different contollers 1 for music/1 for video, especially when im scratching/mixing fast.

I know theres the allen + heath midi mixer but its way out of reach of my budget, just need to come up with something/adaptation of the cross fader on my mixer,

anyone have any ideas/solutions?

It should be possible to use a crossfader as an input for the MB Hardware Platform. Try asking in the forum over at ucapps.de , I'm sure they can help you with this.

i know maxi patch mixers video and audio - what i mean is that to mix the video from one turntable to the other you have to use a midi mixer = separate mixer for audio and one for video - not best solution - i want to be able to use my audio vestax mixer to mix the video as well the audio, makes scratching video in out and mixing a lot easier...

offbeat...

Finally I understand your problem and I start to investigate... I 'll design a mixer complements for my behringer dx05 and I improve to mutate this... Your question is very interesting but for just moment I work with DM2.

First I'll learnt the Midi in Maxipatch AV and then I design the need components, then I improve to incorporate to my mixer.

There are some webs with DIY midi components and one of my brothers is projectist delineant and in his work has a friend who works with smd solding (?) components. I hope you understand me...

Anybody wants to colaborate in this project???

about dopefer kit:

the pots or knobs to connect must be free contact... My idea was to do a bridge from vestax fader to this and voil·... but it seems not possible...

Hello,

I have some news!!!

I ask to my brother (it's an Electronic Ingenieran) abaut the crossfader and He said me that there are a kind of crossfader DUAL... It can send two signals; one with VA and another without it :D

When September comes I go to Electronic Stores and look for this item... then if it fits into vestax (or my Behringer dx05) and works, well... hehe
