generating a ms Pinky signal from Max

Post by asger60 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 1:27 pm

I realize that this might not be the correct place to ask this, since it's not completely Pinky related, but here it goes.

I have just gotten myself a Stanton SCS.1d, which seems like a pretty nice unit held back by some stupid software decisions. I have been trying to use it with Traktor where it performs ok, but not nearly good enough for what I want. The Traktor "scratch on" midi messages is killing the direct feeling of controlling a real record. Now I'm looking to Ms Pinky to save the day.

Anyways here's my question:
Would it be possible to to generate the Ms Pinky vinyl control signal through max/msp, and of course how do I do that?
The SCS.1d send out a series of bangs when the platter moves, I'm thinking that with these bangs I should be able to generate a signal for the mptcfs~ object.

thanks

maybe you could link the location markers with these bang messages.
