multichannel audiofiles

Hi is it possible to load and play back multichannel audio files (more than two) with the mptcfs_sa~ object? I see there's a "query nchans" message that outputs the correct number of channel in the file, but when I listen to it, it sounds almost bit crushed..

and otherwise, would it be possible to sync two mptcfs_sa~ objects to one input and be sure they wouldn't drift out of sync?
