It is currently impossible for Ms Pinky to upgrade her Max external objects to be compatible with the strictly 64-bit versions of Max For Live. This is mostly because Cyclng-'74 has not released the 64-bit version of their SDK for 3d party external object developers to use. So for now, Ms Pinky remains in 32-bit land.

Ableton provides both a 32-bit and a 64-bit installer for Live 9. So if you want to continue to use Ms Pinky's Max For Live objects, stick to using the 32-bit version of Live 9 with the 32-bit version of Max For Live.

Any idea when we might see Ms Pinky in 64bit?
That would be WONDERFUL!

Yes, looking forward to the update.. Will not upgrade to Live 9 for a while anyway, but it would be great if MsPinky would keep on working in L9..

EDIT: (sorry a bit OT but) Going through the LiveAPI documentation for Max 6.1 -> found this in the release notes:

> file_path Get
> the location of the audio file represented by the clip Note: Accessing this
> property will generate an error if is_audio_clip is false

So will this mean that finally we can get MsPinky to play back live clips elegantly without resorting to path "hacks" ?! :D

Hi Ms Pinky lovers!

I purchased Pinky software few days ago and tried it on different configurations, PC/MAC, Ableton 8/9 etc... (I'm a student and have three roomates) and it works generally very well.

But I have some problems with my computer: OSX 10.6.8 / Ableton 9.0.2 32 bit / Max 6.1 32 bit (don't have licence for Max but it's precised that the 30 days trial is full) the plugin works but it dosen't show the waveform while on PC it's okay!

I think Ms Pinky is a very powerfull software but it lacks some things so be excellent and to IMO concurrence or overcome Serato or Traktor!

- First of all towards Information, we can find somes informations in pdf, on this forum, on others sites like djtechtools but this is messy so can be hard to understand for lots of users.

- Second point, the developpement: is it scheduled to run in 64 bit? why don't you publish the pugin on maxforlive .info to attract new users and developpers? Is dlpinkstah alone to develop the program? why don't you create or publish on google code, GitHub, website like that?

- To finish the communication, I think this software is totally unkown, I work as live producer in an association in France and think this program could interest a lot of DJs!

I'm ready to help on this project, I work with graphists, community managers, DJs and I see that many users are very involved, so let's make Ms Pinky a first choice!

I spent some time to understand why my mptcfs didn't work in max 6.1 and never found out why.
I downgraded to max 6.0.8 copying same file at same location and magically worked !
To me , there is something with ms pinky in max 6.1 ..
