Distinguish tracks on mspinky vinyl

Post by marleynoe » Thu Mar 19, 2015 6:59 pm

Hey there,

Apologies if there is an obvious answer to my question, but how do you guys find out which track you're playing on the vinyl (the 4thGen vinyl has different "tracks" on it). I suppose it's possible to do a modulo division on the position values (assuming the tracks all have the same length), just wondering if there's some explicit information on that somewhere?

cheers,
Marlon

Track duration on 4th Gen vinyl

Post by marleynoe » Sun Mar 22, 2015 7:49 pm

Hello,

Or in other words what's the duration of a track on a mspinky 4thGen vinyl? (in mspinky-timestamps or in secs)?

I'm still wondering how to 'map' a sound file to a certain region on the vinyl... (there used to be a mspinky-absolutemode.maxpat long time ago - can't find it anymore)
Any help greatly appreciated.

Please please please,
Marlon
