transform signal in max value??

hi everybody

i'm a beginner with ms pinky and max/msp.

I want scale the variation of this audio signal in max value in realtime, i use the snapshot~ object with 1 like argument.But maybe there is a less expensive way for the Cpu??

someone could help me??

why not just use *~?

If you just want to scale the signal variations, you could just use *~ (multiply-tilde). That will take almost no CPU at all.
