.wvf files, how are they generated

.wvf files, how are they generated

im playing about with the jsui object and i want to use it as a waveform display, like how its done in maxi patch, however, i want to be able to display multiple waveforms.



im guessing that wvf files are just supper compressed/ reduced copies of the soundfile



how does it all work?
