CRASH: mptcfs_sa~ keeps crashing Max 5

Post by ontheDL » Wed Jul 01, 2009 11:45 pm

I've been working on a rather large Max patch, derived from the AO Maxi-Patch.

I have been working for a little over a week with no problems, but all of the sudden in the last 24 hours Max has started crashing frequently. This happens at seemingly random times. Sometimes I am using the patch, but other times I'm in the middle of editing and everything is off.

All of the crashes are putting out the same looking crash report, and it looks like the mptcfs_sa~ object is the culprit.

I have pasted the most relevant parts of the Crash report below (which include all the details about my system and specs). Any ideas? This instability is a real deal-breaker right now.

Thanks in advance!

Please email me the patch so I can duplicate the crash.

To which email address?

Also... please note that this is a random crash, so its a pain in the ass to reproduce. I've had it crash on me 5 times in 20 minutes, and then other times I've gone 45 minutes without a problem.
