Some tracks with my live setup

Hey there,

These past few months I've been working on turning my tracks into a live set using Ms. Pinky, an MPD32 and Ableton Live.

These two tracks are very recent, more on the turntable work side:

This one was the first track I adapted to the live set using a different controller, but shows a bit more of the possibilities I have with this setup:

This one is a drumming routine played on the MPD32:

Hope you like them, I'd really appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for posting these!! Of course I'm partial to the turntable-centric stuff: "catch you" is my personal fav. I love the way you're doing lots of on-the-fly loop creation. This is exactly what I've always thought people should be doing with Ms Pinky + Max 4 Live + Ableton.... Bravo!

Cheers... Very enjoyable in that your productions are mellow and you incorporate nicely without going over the top.. or selling yourself short.

I agree with Pinkstah... in that I think "Catch You" is my fav

I guess I have to post some video to show you how I have been Ms. Pinky

It got so overwhelming with features and ideas that I had to partner up with other like minded creatives and have formed collaborative groups
So, now it's quite hard to JUST do audio.

But, I think I will!

Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.

Thanks for the kind words.

I've uploaded the Catch You mp3 to my site:

I still think there's much more I could do with this setup as far as music playing goes. Still need to explore the possibilities. I've also been playing around with making Quartz Composer react to what I do in Ableton, but so far it seems to be way too taxing on my computer, but it's fun.
