Supported File Formats

Before I purchase ms pinky, I have 3 questions.
1) is there a complete list of supported audio file formats? In specific, will BinkyToy let you manipulate .flac files?
2) Are any audio codecs really processor intensive to play back? Or with a core2duo cpu, does it just not matter?
3) Do audio files need to be pre-analyzed in any way before you play them in BinkyToy?
thnx
