CDJ1000 Cue button not working correctly

Hi guys, new to Ms pinky and running
Mac 10.6.4
Maxi-Patch 3.7.4
Maya44
CDJ1000
DJM-400 mixer
Gen5 time coded CD
Everything seems to be working on the CDJ except the Cue button. Normally when you press Cue button on the CDJ it would take the track back to the beginning of the track which it does on the CDJ but this is not reflected on Maxi-patch, but infact is more like hitting pause. Then when you press play again it plays from the same position. I have set it to absolute mode thinking this would be the issue but still having problem.
I can press the |< button on Maxi-patch to start the track from beginning again but that is a pain and would love for the CDJ Cue button to work, is there something Im missing????
