Hello,

I have maxipatch AO/AV since almost one ytear ago. The oldest versions work on my set but for a long time I has disconnected the set and now when Itry to use it... She won't work for me :(

I take a look to my adat interface and the sound is fllowing (another apps can record it) and flows out too. The notice windows in maxi said "asiostop"

It's a maxi mistake or what heel I'm doing bad???

Thanks friends,

Mudo

I/O Vector Size = 2^N (64, 128, 256, 512, etc...)

Hi Mudo-

First of all, what version of Maxi-Patch are you using?

My first guess is that you may need to adjust the I/O Vector Size settings

for your audio device.

1) Open Audio Settings. Select your audio device. What are the settings

for "I/O Vector Size" and "Signal Vector Size"? In order for Maxi-Patch to work properly with ASIO, you need to set these both to be some power of 2, i.e. 64, 128, 256, 512, etc...

2) At the bottom of Audio Settings window, press the "Audio Driver Setup" button. This should bring up the control panel for your audio device. Make adjustments to its latency settings so that the "I/O Vector Size" in Maxi-Patch can assume a power-of-2 value.

Hope this makes sense.

The vector size is fixed to 256,

the other value could be power of 2 but nothing changes...

the message is something like

ad-asio()asiostop

ad-asio is my rme driver

:(

3 questions

Post by dlpinkstah » Sat Sep 24, 2005 7:01 pm

Three questions:

1) Which audio converter are you using (model, manufacturer)?

2) In the "Audio Settings" window of Maxi-Patch, what happens when you click on "Audio Driver Setup"? It should bring up the control panel for your audio converter.

3) Have you tried re-installing the drivers for your audio converter? This could be a good thing to do if you haven't used it for a long time and are now just setting up your equipment again.

some info:

my audio converter is a rme pad 96/8 linked adat with behringer ada8000 (with phono preamps) with the latest drivers.

I have one cable channel in bad condition because I do test on beta djdecks and work it but the right turntable sound irregular ( I think drifting?, I didn't know this word means but I think is it... Is like a rumble signal grubgrubgrub when reproduces)

Then, I do work djdecks beta (thanks to adion for implemented it) I have second mutation vinyls.

I'm not sure but may be the problem is on maxi load asio or my calibration but the message ASIOSTOP blows my mind.

Pinkstah when I open the audio setup I found my asio driver, when I open the audio driver setup (at the left down position) it open my rme audio driver config... May be I have check anything necessary to record on my producers appz that cause the stop??? Please anybody with an rme card help me...

If I can I send you many screenshoots to see all

Thanks MS.P and MR. SW ;)

My drifting problems in dj decks solve changing the left right channel... (work it in correct side with rumble/not reverse playing  ) changed it and works fine the two decks!!!

Some ideas to maxi :?:

I/O Mappings

Post by dlpinkstah » Sun Sep 25, 2005 7:04 pm

Mudo-

You should also check the "I/O Mappings" under the "Audio Settings".

These settings determine how signals from various inputs/outputs of your audio device get routed to input/output channels in Maxi-Patch. It could be that these settings got messed up and so your input signal is not being routed correctly.
