mptcfs_sa~ doesn't understand "setting"

Why do I get "mptcfs_sa~ doesn't understand "setting"" in the max message window, when I try to switch between controls in MaxiPatch?

1) Which version of Maxi-Patch are you running?

2) Are you running Maxi-Patch as a standalone program, or have you opened Maxi-Patch as a patch for editing inside Max/MSP?

3) Finally, specifically which control are you adjusting when it gives this error message?
