Midi Request

When I press a button on my midi device it shows up in MP with the Control Channel, Note Channel.
Now I have ot manually edit the setting I want to map to that button/fader.
So to make my life a bit easier I was wondering if you (DLP) can have it so that I select the setting to map then I press the button/ move the fader and it records it.... then I select the next one I want and hit the enxt button...etc.
