Im using a 2ghz, macbook, running version 10.4.9 and i use connectiv by m-audio.
Basically, i can open up maxi 3.6.3 but cant get an audio file to play at all or load the waveform. With 3.6.7 everytime i open it, it just crashes straight away. Really dont have a clue what the problem is, binky toy is working fine, so any ideas?
cheers

First off, you can't run 3.6.3 on a Macbook (or any Intel-based Mac) because 3.6.3 is for PPC-based Macs only. So you've got to use 3.6.7. The reason it's crashing is probably due to a corrupted preferences file. What you should do is go to /YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ and delete anything you see there that looks like "Max 4...Preferences Folder". The app should then be able to start up. (hopefully... )
