i have a korg zero 4 mixer with built in pre amps, and this setup works fine with all the stand alone programs - maxi-patch, binky toy and pinky vst.
but i downloaded the externals to have a look at MPTCFS~ and for some reason i need to boost the time code signal considerably for the tracking to work properly. this has meant acquiring another pre amp to amplify the signal before it gets to the korg, which seems rather silly.
like i said it works fine with the stand alones, so does this mean there is something 'missing' from the MPTCFS~ patch?
setup:
macbook pro with osx 10.4.11
maxmsp 4.6
technics turntables
shure m44-7 carts
