Hello

XP64bit
Edirol FA-101
Gen 4 45RPM Vinyl
2 BBE FJB-200X Phono Preamps
technic 1200
shure whitelabel

Pinky VST
and
Maxi Patch AO

I can't get absolute to work, relative works fine. When I switch it to absolute the vinyl annimation goes crazy and the song position skips. I have tried ground to the preamp and to the mixer and the same thing happens.

thanks

See this post and the answer:

All you have to do is select "Torq" vinyl in the vinyl control settings.

thanks that worked.

Now I am experiencing this on the ;eft deck. When the needle is in contact all works as intended. When I take the needle off the vinyl position moves slowly in reverese.......like its getting some of a signal, but it shouldn't be.

Could this be a grounding issue? Or something wrong with the table? The other deck is not doing this.

It could be that you just need to adjust the "Signal Power Thresh (dB)" and "Cutoff Sharpness" controls appropriately for your left deck. Also could be a signal quality problem, lack of proper grounding, etc....
