Hello
When I'm scratching and click the crossfader off, the position on the record at which I clicked off is lost, as in when I click off,the file keeps playing. I have the 'output the current file play position instead of vinyl position' selected but it still does not seem to function in that way.
Any ideas would great.
Cheers
File play position

When you post a problem report please be sure to include the following information:
1) Make & Model of your computer, which Operating System & version.
2) Make & Model of your soundcard
3) Make & Model of your turntable(s), phono cartridge(s), etc.
4) Make & Model of your mixer
5) Which Ms Pinky software you're using, and which version.
6) Finally -- how all components of your system are interconnected.
thanks.

You still didn't specify exactly how all the components are hooked up to each other. In other words, is the turntable connected directly to the inputs of the soundcard? Or did you connect the turntable to the mixer and use the mixer output to drive the soundcard inputs? The reason I'm asking is because I think you may have things hooked up wrong. Please review the required setup page for Ms Pinky:

The reason you've having trouble is because you are cutting out the vinyl control signal with your mixer's crossfader. The signal path between your turntable and the computer must be uninterrupted at all times. Again, please review the required Ms Pinky physical setup:

Basically, it just won't work to use your mixer's phono preamps to drive your soundcard inputs. You need to get an extra phono preamp and connect like this:
Input signal chain:
turntable ---> phono preamp ---> soundcard ---> computer.
Output signal chain:
computer ---> soundcard --> mixer line-level inputs.
