Hi,
Scott what do you think? I see it today too...
This is the beggining but how about cycling74?
(to me this idea is not new but nobody has realized before...)
My opinion, check the new stanton system.

Ammobox is a cool concept, but the vinyl tracking algorithm is utter crap. I found it to be unusable. I'm using the PinkyVST as a base for building similar functionality. Check out the PinkyVST forum for my post about a workaround to do MIDI-triggered sample loading.

Well, at least you think it was a cool concept!
At the time, the vinyl tracking algorithm was the best I could come up with -- I think it'd be an understatement to call it a 'naive implementation'. It is gratifying to see that 7+ months later people are still talking about it though!

Nathan be good...

Don't let talk the monkeygod
I think your concept is good but maybe there are any aproachment quite better.
Why do you don't help Scott with Ableton integration of PinkyVST, your ideas will be good appreciate (and maybe you develop the next BIG ONE)
If I could help you with anything We could do something GREAT altogether.
What do you say?
Happy New Year Nathan and Community!

Love the concept, have no idea about how well it's implemented (I still haven't been able to get it up and running, but probably haven't tried hard enough, maybe I should try again).
Hope you all can get together and make it the next big one, wish I could help, but I'm clueless about this stuff.
Happy New Year all.

Now 'Max for Live' is coming soon. A Max Object for MsPinky exists already. Wouldn't you just have to apply the speed and direction data it outputs to a playing live clip ? Depends on the clip manipulating possibilities provided by Max for Live i guess. What do you think ?

I think that you have some reason but maybe we could start a new treat or following the "max for Live" post...
