Hi All,
While waiting for the Vinyls to arrive, I've decided to have a go with the Gen5 CDs with M-Audio's Torq, but this does not seem to work.
Have tried this with Pinky's "Maxi-Patch-AO" Audio-Only Application for WinXP, v. 3.6.7 - Works great! (why, of course) =D
Anyone of you has the same issue?
I've read that the Vinyls are definitely compatible, but what about the Gen5 CDs?
The Error Index seem to jump erratically from within Torq itself when the CD is playing.
Please advise.
Specs below.

Gen5 CDs not compatible with M-Audio's Torq 1.04?

You are correct in noting that the Ms Pinky Gen5 CD control signal does not work fully with the Torq software. That is because the position information on the Ms Pinky Gen5 CD signal is scrambled relative to the Torq CD. Unfortunately, this was done on purpose because we've licensed the Torq CD signal to M-Audio and are not distributing that particular signal ourselves. So I can suggest two things to you:
1) When scratching Torq with the Gen5 Ms Pinky control signal, use the software in relative mode. This way the position information doesn't matter.
2) Or, please go out and buy a copy of the Torq control CD
