It might seem trivial, but this is an important bug fix!
In testing the PinkyVST/AU with Live 9, I realized there was a big problem: over half the .aif clips included in the samples folder wouldn't load or play properly. After firing up my trusty debugger I was able to trace it to our lack of proper support for the way some programs encode little-endian AIF files. So now all the .AIF samples that come with Ableton should load and play correctly!
Applies to both Windoze and OSX, 32- and 64-bit versions.
On OSX- there is also a new MIDI jog wheel decoding option "absolute". This should help more jog wheels work properly with Ms Pinky.
