Does Anybody know if using a external power supply imrproves the latency with the esi u46dj? I was wondering because I am a turnablist and scratching and latency are a big issue for me and my setup rite now can not go lower than 8ms I would like to bring it down to at least 4ms........... Please let me know if the power supply would help or another method to bring the latency a lil bit lower

The external power supply is always a good idea, IMHO. But the biggest issue is the lack of decent driver support from ESI for the U46DJ. So do get the external power supply... but also be sure to send tons of emails to ESI telling THEM about all the gripes you have with the U46DJ. Ms Pinky can't be blamed for the shitty job they're doing of supporting that product
