global pitch adjustement : sixth inlet of MPTCFS_sa

Hi,
what I want is to change the general pitch of a sound, which will become the "1." of the vinyl velocity. and then pitch the sound around this value like we normally do with the vinyl .
I'm trying to do a pitch adjustement with the sixth inlet, but no result...
I send "pitch_shift 1" to MPTCFS_sa and then a float in the sixth inlet,
but nothing appends.
Am I missing something?
thanks

Sorry about that! Just uploaded new builds of mptcfs~ and mptcfs_sa~ that fix this problem. For OSX and Windoze.

thanks a lot.
I've just tested it on OSX
it works perfectly!
in the same way, is it possible to set a global rate playback?
(which will become the "1." of the velocity of the vinyl.)
to have, for example, a global rate of -20% (= 0,8),
and play around this value with the +/- 8% of my turntable.
the fifth inlet permits larger playback rate, but without vinyl control.
how can I add or substract a float value on the vinyl velocity?
thanks

Hi,
I was wondering if you prefer I begin a new topic for my last question,
because of its variation with the title of this one... or can we stay here?
thanks

I don't object to keeping this thread at its current location.
Currently the only way to get mptcfs_sa~ to modify the velocity value derived from the vinyl before it is used to set pitch is by using the "Pinky Pitch" feature (warped velocity curve). See the "Maxi_Quick_Start" .pdf file for more details on using the warped velocity feature. Or read this post:

Note, however that with Pinky Pitch you always get a velocity value of 1.0 whenever the actual pitch setting on your turntable is 1.0. This is not the result you probably want to achieve. To do what you've described, you'll need to perform a trick such as taking the velocity signal output from mptcfs_sa~, and then modifying it however you want to, and then feeding it back into the rate inlet of mptcfs_sa~.
