Numark USB Mixer

Hi everybody,

I'm new to Ms Pinky world and I'm tryng to understand what is the best set up....

Numark has realized a new and very cheap USB Mixer (only 99 euro).

It has 2 phono ins, 2 line ins and 2 USB In-Out.

the model # is : DM950USB

I'm wondering if somebody have tested it with Ms Pinky system..

if It works I think It will be great : with 99 euro you have a Mixer, the Phono Preamp and the I/O interface!!All in one Box!

Hope somebody have try It and can tell me If It works....

yeah i'm interested in that, too. is this an alternative to buying a soundcard and phono preamps? is this mixer ok compared to mine? i play hiphop, my current mixer is the vestax pcv002.

I haven't tried it out, and this is just speculation, but I would assume that you would need at least 4 channels on the mixer to make this work.

It is a two channel mixer, so you can only use two channels of input at once. MsPinky needs all 4 at once: 2 phono to read the time code and 2 line-outs to output the audio. If this is recognized as a two channel sound card on your PC, you should theoretically be able to use it to control one deck.
